This neat little project from Geoff McFetridge, whose work we last ogled at in his solo show in Copenhagen, was brought to our attention recently. The LA-based artist just opened an exhibition at the renowned Heath Ceramics in Los Angeles featuring his paintings on the walls and some special ceramic products, many of which are one of a kind. Last week in Copenhagen, LA-based Geoff McFetridge opened his show US AS A LOGO at the V1 Gallery. The multidisciplinary artist, who seems to have no creative boundaries, has worked with poetry, animation, graphic design, creating title sequences for movies like Virgin Suicides, Adaptation and Where The Wild Things Are as well as the skateboard ramps seen in the Art in the Streets exhibition. As anticipated, the highly praised “Stages” exhibition made it’s US debut yesterday in a beautiful pop-up space hosted by Deitch Projects in New York’s Soho district.
