3D Art Book Signing @ Opera Gallery

AM recently attended a special signing party for the 3D Art Book (previewed) hosted at the Opera Gallery in New York. Many of the contributors such as Tristan Eaton, Eric White, Haze, Esao Andrews, Tara McPherson, Erik Foss, Andrew Bell, Stephen Bliss, Kevin Bourgeois, Filth, Kenzo Minami, Mint, Serf, Dr. Revolt and Tom Thewes were in attendance, signing and drawing for the droves of fans who came out to support their favorite artists. Last night, AM attended the opening party for the South Park Art Gallery (previewed). Recently, Greg “Craola” Simkins (featured) spent some time at Mid-City Arts in Los Angeles working on a mural. Take a look at this timelapse footage as he painted some of his classic imagery including the pedestal, cloud, honeycomb, and elephant. His next project is curating the INLE group show (lineup) at Gallery 1988, an ode to his favorite book Watership Down and source for much of the symbology in his work.
