Openings: Dalek & Greg Lamarche – “Geometric Balance” @ Show & Tell Gallery

A couple weeks ago, the Show & Tell Gallery in Toronto hosted new work from Dalek (interviewed) and Greg Lamarche (interviewed). Masters of structured typography and geometric shapes, the two displayed impeccable linework as well as balanced compositions in the paintings they brought. Benefits: MS Fundraiser for Tim Strazza @ Joshua Liner Gallery

This Thursday, a very special art fundraiser will be held at Joshua Liner Gallery for our friend Tim Strazza who was unfortunately diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. We are helping to sponsor a benefit event where all proceeds will go to his medical bills. Openings: “Assorted Flavor” @ Known Gallery

This past Saturday, the Known Gallery and gallery director Casey Zoltan, presented an exhibition titled Assorted Flavor which featured the eclectic work of seven different artists. The lineup included the likes of Kevin Ancell, Jason Jägel, Saber, Patrick Martinez, Greg Lamarche, Push and Augustine Kofie. Displayed across a wide open space perfectly suitable for this kind of exhibit, the artwork showed an interesting mix of graffiti-style art, mixed media work, and even some traditional painting. Releases: Zevs Liquidated Logo T-Shirt @ SLAGS

The site Secret Little Art Geeks (SLAGS), which has collaboratively produced limited edition T-shirts with such artists as John Baldessari, Curtis Kulig and Greg Lamarche, has just released a new shirt. Although cryptically listed on the site as being by “Anonymous,” the tee is in fact by the infamous French street artist Zevs (currently showing in New York), and features one of Zevs’ signature liquidated Chanel logos. It’s available for $35 here.

Teaser: Greg Lamarche – “One Shot” @ Bodega

With collaborative hosts Bodega and Four Wall Project, Greg Lamarche will have a week long popup shop upcoming next month.
