Over the weekend, the Known Gallery unveiled the latest exhibit from New York based graffiti artists How & Nosm. The Spanish-born twins How & Nosm arrived in Los Angeles nearly 2 weeks before their next solo show entitled Achtung!, which opens on October 15th at the Known Gallery. AM recently attended a group exhibition (previewed) held by Vandalog and M.A.N.Y. in New York. The show Up Close & Personal was unique in the sense that it was not held outdoors or in a gallery, but in an actual apartment on the Upper West Side. We have a big art night tonight in Culver City and one of the trifecta of shows is opening at the Carmichael Gallery. Seminal street art and graf photographer, Martha Cooper (interviewed), will be in town with an exhibition (Martha Cooper : Remix) she curated where artists were asked to reinterpret one of her many famous photographs.
