Upcoming: Slinkachu @ MAR Museum of Art

Every year, three critics under 40 choose three artists under 40 to show at the MAR Museum of Art in Ravenna, Italy as part of the annual Critica In Arte exhibition (opening tonight, November 28th). Streets: Invader (Ravenna)

After a summer series of works in his hometown of Paris, Invader has moved on to Italy to put up his next batch of work. The central Italian city of Ravenna is known for its superb Byzantine mosaics, so it is only natural that the French artist has chosen to increase his street activity there. This second invasion featured 15 new pieces with inspiration that ranged from the architecture, culture, and sights of the area. Discuss Invader here.

Streets: Ericailcane (Italy)

Last week for the BREGHEDEBRE event in Sassari, Italy, Ericailcane was invited in to paint the facade of the facade of the former Hotel Turritania. After this was completed, artists Andrea D’Ascanio, Andrea Casciu, Kiki Skipi, Elisa Desortes, Bastardilla joined the Italian mural painter in holding a live printmaking session for their fans. Streets: Bezt x Natalia Rak (Caserta)

While Sainer was taking a studio break by painting a large mural in Lisbon (covered), the other half of Etam Cru, Bezt was invited to Caserta, Italy for the Memorie Urbane Festival where he was joined by his fiancee Natalia Rak. As you can see, this art couple collaborated on a diptych mural painted on the opposite sides of the same five story building. Streets: Clemns Behr for ALT!rove (Catanzaro, Italy)

Kicking off the second edition of the ALT!rove street art festival this year (from 30th April to 9th May) is Clemens Behr with an impressive new mural. This year’s theme is “Abstractism – space>place” and will also feature work from 108, Alberonero, Giorgio Bartocci, Ciredz, Erosie, Graphic Surgery, Sbagliato, Sten Lex and Tellas. In addition to painting walls in Catanzaro, Italy, each artist will participate in a group show at Casa ALT!rove along with others like 2501, Martina Merlini, Moneyless, and Domenico Romeo.
