James Jean (who recently had a show at 3.1 Phillip Lim) and SURU has just released a new limited edition giclee of his painting, Tango. The 28″x44″ giclee, reproduced with archival pigment ink on Hahnemühle Fine Art Paper, is in an edition of 50, signed, numbered, and custom embossed. It can be yours for $500. High fashion and fine art was exhibited in a seamless mix as James Jean unveiled his Birds and Boys series at 3.1 Phillip Lim during Fashion’s Night Out in West Hollywood. Jean’s fantastically cool portraits of the famous and the beautiful of Los Angeles were hung throughout the store, occupying the same racks as Lim’s elegantly designed threads.
