Releases: Jeremy Geddes – “Foundation” Print

On December 3rd, starting at 5 pm (Eastern Time), Jeremy Geddes (interviewed) will be offering up a timed release print for only 24 hours. Entitled Foundation, the image features one of the Australian painter’s iconic floating astronauts rendered beautifully and reaching for some branches and a skull. The print image is 56cm wide x 66cm high (paper size 61cm x 74cm) and will cost about $166 USD. On November 27th, a group exhibition organized by Henrik Uldalen, the founder of Paintguide on Instagram, will open at Unit London. One can say the Norwegian oil painter’s success has come in part because of social media, something that more and more collectors are using to find and purchase artwork. Releases: Jeremy Geddes – “Ascent” Hoodie

Daylight Curfew has just announced the release of their collaboration with Jeremy Geddes (interviewed) for their DLC Black Label line. Entitled Ascent, the same name as one of the Australian painter’s iconic images (also released as a print), the new hoodie will be limited to 100 pieces and feature their own embroidered edition numbers. Six months after the initial announcement, Jeremy Geddes decided to go ahead with a new timed release for the Hypostasis print. Made after an original painting that was shown at the Juxtapoz Magazine 20th anniversary show (covered), as a part of his Cosmonaut series, the image is a sequel or a revisited version of his iconic Red Cosmonaut piece. Jeremy Geddes (interviewed) recently announced the lottery for his newest print release set to drop next week. Entitled Ascent, the latest limited edition from the Australian artist will feature an image sized at 56cm wide and 56cm high (paper size 61cm x 64m). Highlighting one of Geddes’ most popular reoccurring characters, the gravity defying astronaut can be yours for $235 AUD if you are lucky and will come in a run of 250.
