We’re suckers for a great idea and also impatient when it comes to waiting for the delivery guys. So after posting about the KAWS x Standard Light Bulb Set, we headed to The Standard NY to cop this hot collaboration. Upon arrival, we were excited to see the shop already had the bulbs nicely installed. Even in the daylight the glowing XX’s were apparent from the dangled housing. In case you missed it yesterday, KAWS put up for sale his latest release – a set of collaboration figures with Robert Lazzarini. Unfortunately, they quickly sold out. KAWS Giant Companion Comes to Aldrich Contemporary

It appears KAWS has gifted the Northeast with a Giant Companion for the Holiday Season. Wow, what a stunning collaboration between Robert Lazzarini, well known for his distorted sculptures, and KAWS in what we like to call the “Distorted Companions”.
