Augustine Kofie’s Building From Memory exhibition concludes this weekend after a five week run at Openspace in Paris. This is the LA-based artist’s third show with the gallery and the title refers to the acquisition and repeated application of knowledge. Openings: Augustine Kofie – “Circulatory System” @ White Walls

Saturday evening, White Walls opened its doors to Augustine Kofie’s second solo show at the gallery, Circulatory System (previewed in our studio visit). The new body of work consisted of 30 pieces including small studies, medium and large scale pieces on wood and canvas, as well as a few hand painted multiple prints. This show concentrates on circular shapes in an interconnect system, while consistently maintaining the draftsman-like quality in his signature style. Studio Visits / Preview: Augustine Kofie – “Circulatory System” @ White Walls

This Saturday, Augustine Kofie will be opening a solo exhibition, Circulatory System, at White Walls Gallery in San Francisco. The title is a play on words describing a new body of work that focuses on circular shapes in an interconnected system, much like an engine or a network of intersecting highways.
