Tomorrow, April 9th, a trio of shows are scheduled to welcome Thinkspace Gallery to the Culver City art district (6009 Washington Blvd., Culver City, CA 90232). When we visited Thinkspace a couple weeks ago to check out Damon Soule’s solo show, we also took in the “Fresh” group show in the project room. The appropriately named show featured some new young talent on the Silverlake gallery’s roster including Linnea Strid (seen above), Josie Morway, and Jacub Gagnon among others. A promising new artist that we have been keeping our eye on, Linnea Strid, is participating in a great group show this weekend at Thinkspace. The Swedish painter, who has so far impressed collectors with her realistic rendering of water and glass, will join a a group of talented young artist including Josie Morway, Dabs Myla, Wesley Burt, Jacub Gagnon, John Park, and Craig ‘Skibs’ Barker.
