Streets: Dabs Myla (Los Angeles) Part II

Yesterday, we brought you a look at the progress from Dabs Myla’s latest mural in Los Angeles. This Branded Arts project once again shows off their impeccable technique as well as their ability to work on a large scale project with ease utilizing their unique style. Teaser: Eric Joyner – “It’s A Jungle Out There” @ Corey Helford

It’s been almost a year and a half since Eric Joyner (interviewed) last had a solo show (covered). So, fans of his signature robots and donuts will be happy to hear that his next body of work, entitled It’s A Jungle Out There, will be will be on display at the Corey Helford Gallery starting January 21st. This past weekend, the Corey Helford Gallery presented the latest solo show by the painter Sylvia Ji (interviewed). Titled Gilded Roses, the exhibition featured a collection of work that was accentuated by the artist’s penchant for intricate details as well as her use of a colorful palette. The night featured twelve paintings, all which reference a Victorian-like quality mixed with a slightly surreal tone. This Saturday, December 17th, Sylvia Ji (interviewed) will be transporting her fans to another time and place when she opens Gilded Roses at the Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles.
