Openings: Jeremy Fish “The Ambush” @ Fecal Face Gallery

Jeremy Fish’s mini show “The Ambush” opened last night at at Fecal Face Gallery in SF. On display was a large wall mural along with some wall wood sculptural pieces (one seen above). Available for purchase was Fish’s largest print to date (22″ x 34″) also entitled “The Ambush” with a run of 30 and reasonably priced for the size at $200.Â Take a look at the print as well as opening photos after the jump…

The magical work of Camille Rose Garcia will be the center of attention for Jonathan Levine’s booth at this years SCOPE art fair in New York. They will be exhibiting new paintings, drawings, and sculpture from CRG as part of a site-specific installation, including a custom wallpaper, designed by the artist herself. AM dropped by Brandt Peters’ solo show â€œCackle Factoryâ€ (interviewed/previewed) which runs through February 27th at Gallery 1988 LA.Â Â As you will see from theÂ photos,Â the scuptures andÂ customs round out this body of work nicely.Â His unique color palette and details are much more impressive in person so make sure you stop by for a look as there is only one more week left for the exhibition.Â Â See all the photos after the jump.

“Movers and Shakers” (previewed) opened on Valentine’s Day in Los Angeles’ Chinatown at POV Evolving Gallery and AM dropped by to check it out. Stella Im Hultberg’s show “The Insentient World” (teased) is opening tonight at Roq La Rue showing concurrently with Andrew Hem’s (interviewed) show.Â Her show will feature approximately six canvas paintings and six tea-stained paper pieces.Â She took a little time out from her busy schedule to work on a creative process feature for our readers focusing on one of her canvas works (12″ x 14″) entitled “Nobody and Everyone Else.”Â Take a look after the jump.

Gallery 1988 LA announced their latest print with Luke Chueh (teased) featuring his “Disintegration” image. Fans who missed out when the painting was first printed as a giclee on canvas last year (limited to 25 pieces) now have the chance to adorn their wall with this great image.
