On June 5th, felt artist Lucy Sparrow will transform a 1200-square-foot space off The Standard, High Line’s Biergarten into a fully stocked felt convenience store as she opens her big US debut entitled 8 Till Late. On November 3rd, Lawrence Alkin Gallery opened Shoplifting, a new solo show by felt sculpture artist Lucy Sparrow. Inspired by the artist’s time spent working in a supermarket, the show will include a new range of daily products recreated as hand-crafted felt items.
