Events: Benefit for the People of Haiti @ Sucré, Brooklyn

This Saturday night, David Ellis, José Parlá and other members of The Barnstormers are participating in a benefit to aid the relief effort in Haiti. So head out to Sucré in Clinton Hill/Bed-Stuy, check out some amazing art and music, and support a good cause.

This past Saturday, Subliminal Projects presented the second installment of their “Park Life” series. Curated by Studio Number One, this latest body of work revolves around the theme of “The New Utopia,” which presents each artists’ individual representations of a perfect society. Thinkspace and Ad Hoc Art pulled out all the stops for the opening of “From the Streets of Brooklyn” (teased and previewed) and Los Angeles was out in full force, packing the gallery to the brim to scope out the work from Brooklyn’s best graf writers, wheatpasters, muralists, and stencilers.
