Kaikai Kiki artist Mr. opened his show “Nobody Dies” a week ago at Emmanuel Perrotin (Paris). This protÃ©gÃ© of Takashi Murakami is known for his obviously anime influenced paintings of innocent children in adult situations (not an uncommon theme for Japanese artists it seems).Â Looks like in this show, he tackles themes of war and child soldiers.Â More photos of the opening after the jump.

New Mr. and Chiho Aoshima prints

Takashi Murakami‘s company, Kaikai Kiki, had announced the release of new limited edition offset prints by Japanese pop artists Mr. and Chiho Aoshima. As the announcement was made on Kaikai Kiki’s Japanese-language Web site, the details are not clear. AM believes that the sales will be conducted by lottery, and that the sign up for the lottery runs from today through October 12 (Japanese time).
