Preview: Victor Castillo – “The Jungle” @ Jonathan LeVine

Next Saturday, Feb 25th in Chelsea, the disturbing works of Victor Castillo will be on display at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery. The Jungle features the Chilean-born and Los Angeles-based artist’s series of paintings influenced by the preponderance of global protests and violence that has taken over the headlines in recent times. We saw him push through a number of mediums, from his detailed hand-painted wheatpastes to his newer stencils without tire. Check out all the action captured for us by Joe Russo after the jump.
