A couple saturday nights ago, along with Stella Im Hultberg and Amy Sol, Nicoletta Ceccoli (interviewed) presented her part in the three person show entitled “Babes in Toyland.” As with many of the shows of the popular San Marino artist, the paintings almost immediately sold out. Showing: Nicoletta Ceccoli – “Beauties and Beasts” & Eric Fortune – “Daughters of our Nature” @ Roq La Rue

Two artists whose work we enjoy immensely, Nicoletta Ceccoli (interviewed) & Eric Fortune (interviewed) opened up their joint show a couple weekends ago at Roq La Rue.  Ceccoli’s delicate attention to detail in and her clever juxtaposition of humans and nature (above) along with Fortune’s patient brushwork and mastery of textures/motions were on full display.  If you are lucky enough to be in the Seattle area, definitely take this opportunity to check out not one but two extraordinary artists. See some closer views after the […]

Opening up along with Eric Fortune, the curtains will come up this Friday in Seattle so if you’re in the area, this is a show that is definitely worth the trip. In the meantime, […]

From what she told us, she plans to have about 10 paintings for this show.  Judging from the teaser pics she was kind enough to send us, expect more of her fantastic dreamy and delicate imagery for this show.  Ceccoli’s paintings have a high level of detail and must be seen in person to truly appreciate how amazing her brushwork is.  More after the […]
