After collaborating with JR (interviewed) in Paris on some meaningful pieces (covered), Os Gemeos traveled to Milan to paint the inaugural mural for the “Outside the Cube” project. The Brazilian brothers Os Gemeos are currently in Europe, working on a couple of different projects. Their first stop was in Paris where they collaborated with a long time friend and fellow artist/photographer, JR (interviewed), creating an installation in the tunnels of the Palais de Tokyo. Fans of the twins attending Basel Week Miami next week should add visiting the Tiroche Deleon Collection to their itinerary. Sem Titulo (Untitled) is a sculptural installation piece from Os Gemeos that features a giant head mounted on the chassis of a Volkswagen Beetle and brings to life something seen earlier in their Serenade painting. In town for their Parallel Connection project (covered), Brazilian twins Os Gemeos used this opportunity to create a couple of sneaky street works with their friends. They teamed up with French part-time locals, JR and Andre Saraiva, and painted some lovely pieces on the streets of SoHo in New York. Mixing their different styles and signature elements, artists were able to created a lovely collaboration.
