Streets: Pangeaseed – “Sea Walls: Murals for Oceans” (New Zealand) – Part II

After a look at some of the artists at work on their pieces for the Sea Walls: Murals for Oceans project sponsored by the PangeaSeed Foundation, here is a look at some select walls they painted. The muralists were invited in by the non-profit in Napier, New Zealand to create works to raise awareness for ocean environmental issues. PangeaSeed Foundation recently took off on another large expedition – accompanied by 29 international and local artists as they launched the newest edition of their Sea Walls: Murals for Oceans street art festival in Napier, New Zealand. Releases: Kozyndan // Pangeaseed – “Celestial Bodies” Print

Continuing their partnership with Pangeaseed, artistic duo Kozyndan recently released a new print entitled Celestial Bodies. Their love for the oceans is well known, so this this whimsical piece revisiting their riff on the narwhal is a perfect project to collaborate on with the for-benefit company trying to help to save the seas through ocean-inspired art. Recap: Sea Walls: Murals for Oceans (San Diego)

The hardworking people from the PangeaSeed project are continuing their praiseworthy efforts with another successful edition of their Sea Walls: Murals for Ocean events. Streets: Sea Walls: Murals for Oceans – Mexico Expedition

A couple of weeks ago Pangeaseed.org wrapped up another praiseworthy project on the island of Isla Mujeres, Mexico – Sea Walls: Murals for Oceans – Mexico Expedition. For this event that took place from July 20-28, they invited a group of international artists to help raise awareness for the conservation of the ocean.  Similar to what they did with POW! WOW! POW! WOW! ’14 / Openings: 1xRun x Pangeaseed show

One of the main events of this year’s POW! WOW! Hawaii was the release of a POW! WOW! 2104 Featured Artists Series of limited edition prints by the 1xRun, as well as the opening of their popup show along with the Pangeaseed organization.
