As we mentioned in our article documenting RETNA (featured) painting the side of the Pasadena Museum of California Art (PMCA), tonight marks the opening of Street Cred, an exhibition featuring a LA-centric roster of graffiti and street artists (as well as fine artists who have street influences in their past). On May 14th, the Pasadena Museum of California Art opens their doors to Street Cred, an exhibition celebrating the art of graffiti, be it in it’s basic form or as a formative tool in the current career and work of fine artists.
