Earlier today, Marion Peck released a new limited edition print through Porterhouse Fine Art entitled The Salmon Spirit. This signed and numbered offering will be in an edition size of 100, 19″ x 20″, and priced at $300, with all proceeds going towards benefiting the Nature Conservancy. For those jonesing for an Audrey Kawasaki (interviewed) print, but are overwhelmed by those with more more nimble fingers on the day of the release – here is finally an opportunity to add one to your collection easily. Painter Candice Tripp has been working on the image for her next print release. As you can see, this screenprint will be generous in size and will include a subset of hand-finished editions. It will be produced through Black Rat Projects, where the UK-based artist will have a solo showing in June. She has also been working on some illustrations for a story written by Gogol Bordello. Combine one of the most respected print production companies out there with an artist whose attention to detail is well-documented and the outcome of their collaboration is almost per-ordained to be incredible. UK-based street muralist Phlegm has really outdone himself this time. Using his intricate drawing skills, he has created a three part piece that when combined features an entire world on the shoulders of one his characters. Releases: Amy Sol – “Water Dragon” Print

Amy Sol (interviewed), who has a Los Angeles solo coming up in March, is also releasing a new print appropriately in this new year of the dragon. The image, Water Dragon, is from a piece she did for the the New Moon group exhibition early last year and will be reincarnated as a limited edition giclee (edition 50) scheduled for release tomorrow, January 28th, at 2pm pacific time in her online store.
