This Friday (February 8th) at 12pm EST, fans of RIME will see a pretty unique release through the good people at 1xRUN. The Arrest Sheets portfolios are priced at a hefty $500 but you get a lot for your money as the edition (run of 30) includes drawings (like the ones here) as well as hand embellished prints & folders with each being unique. Releases: Nick Walker – “Love Vandal” Print

For those who have art-loving Valentines out there, on February 7th, Nick Walker (interviewed) will be releasing his Love Vandal print on his website. The edition size will be 150 with the image taken from a street piece from Paris that you may remember we shared with you back in April of last year. Camille Rose Garcia (interviewed) recently posted about a new project she is working on – an illustration for something McSweeneys Publishing is involved in. Along with some in progress pics, she also announced that today at Noon (Pacific Time), she will be releasing some prints and items (on her webstore) found from organizing around her studio. Later this afternoon (around 3pm PST), Brett Amory (featured) will be releasing a new print through Spoke Art on their online store. Entitled Bob’s Donuts, the image is taken from a painting from his showing at the Sandra Lee Gallery (covered) last year. Tomorrow night (January 12th), the LeBasse Projects in Culver City will be presenting all new works from Nate Frizzell (interviewed). Spectrum will be his first solo showing of oil paintings since 2011 (covered) and as the title suggests, each painting will be focusing on a single color from his palette – in turn making up the full color range. The Portland-based Josh Keyes (interviewed) recently shared a tantalizing new photo of his next print release. You may recognize the painting as Lifted II from his recent showing (covered) at the Roq La Rue Gallery in Seattle – a wise choice as that was one of the strongest images from the show and certainly a favorite of many we talked to. It seems our friends at Pressure Printing have been working on a special project with Mark Ryden. Entitled Wood Lincoln, this reoccurring character by Mr. Ryden’s work comes to life in a beautiful 14-color serigraph that comes in a hand carved walnut veneered wood frame measuring 33″ x 27.5″.
