Earlier this month, the Buddy System Invitational (curated by Sven Davis) opened at the Breeze Block Gallery in Portland. The group exhibition centered on the interesting concept having each of the 22 invited artists bring along a fellow artist to exhibit alongside them with each contributing one 16 x 20″ & one 8 x 8″ artwork. Releases: Rachell Sumpter – “Old Friend” Print @ Tiny Showcase

Washington-based painter, Rachell Sumpter, has recently released a new print through Tiny Showcase. This vibrant image is entitled Old Friend and will be a 10″ x 10″ reproduction priced at only $25. Rachell has chosen Waking the Village as her artwork’s charity with $250 dollars from the sales will be donated to the organization. Discuss Rachell Sumpter.
