Releases: Audrey Kawasaki – “Madame Una” & “Arianna” Prints

Starting on March 17th (12am midnight PST), two new limited editions will be available from Audrey Kawasaki (interviewed) time limited to 48 hours. Entitled Madame Una & Arianna, the images are taken from two paintings she contributed to a mini show (covered) at last year’s Moniker Art Fair in London in which she was exploring a new style inspired by old advertisements posters for circus performers. Currently in New York at Morgan Lehman’s auxiliary space (526 West 26th Street, 4th Floor), there is a small popup show of Paul Wacker’s work on view. Running from March 8-10, the short term exhibition will feature a book launch party Friday night (5 – 8 pm) featuring Wacker’s newest book – You Are Welcome Here. Releases: Kenny Scharf – “Sloppy Melt” Lithograph

Print Them All recently teamed up with legendary artist Kenny Scharf (interviewed) for a fresh new limited edition release. As a part of his recent Sloppy Styles series, Sloppy Melt is a new take on his signature cartoon-inspired imagery. The California-born artist was a contemporary of such names as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol or Keith Haring, working alongside them in the 80s in NYC. His graffiti-based work has been called pop abstract surrealism, and is constructed of alien-like cartoonish characters that form everything from single portraits to complex multidisciplinary installations. Releases: Dabs Myla – “Alphabet Paper Studies”

This morning, Dabs Myla kicked off a 72 hour period in which you can order their Alphabet Paper Studies through their web store. Each piece is hand painted to order allowing collectors to buy multiples letters for initials, names, or anything at all. Releases: Jen Stark x Las Jaras Wines

For those who like to collect their own stash of bottles featuring the artwork of their favorite artists, Jen Stark has just released a design she collaborated with Las Jaras Wines on. Emblazoned on the side of the Napa Valley vineyard’s 2016 Pétillant Naturel Sparkling Rosé is one of the artist’s signature psychedelic patterns on a holographic label. Releases: Naturel – “Death’s Playground” Print

Graphic designer and artist Naturel recently released a new print entitled Death’s Playground, a continuation of his popular death series. The image features skeletons playing basketball, all rendered in the Chamorro artist’s signature aesthetic that is modern take on cubism. Sized at 27 1/2″ x 19 3/4″, it’s limited to an edition of 23 and can be purchased here for $180.

1xRun has just released a new limited edition from Luke Chueh (interviewed) entitled Wish You Were Here, a homage to the Pink Floyd classic. The Shape of Water was created for the award winning film of the same name with James working directly with Guillermo del Toro to create an image for the official one sheet.
