Releases: Supreme x John Baldessari Skate Decks

It looks like it’s time for another Supreme artist collaboration skate deck release. Fans will be happy to know that they are continuing their respected line featuring prominent artists with John Baldessari. Three different versions will be available starting October 7th for North America (both in-store and online) and on October 9th in Japan. Via Hypebeast.

Releases: Camilla d’Errico – “Canadian Tiger” Print

Last February, Camilla d’Errico was invited to show at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.  Her painting, ‘Canadian Tiger’ not only sold at the Olympics, but has just been released as a limited edition print.  In addition, it was Camilla’s birthday recently.  To help celebrate, her ‘Canadian Tiger’ is going to be used as the cover to her upcoming book dropping early next year.  Check out the print in her official store, as well as some exclusive pics of her signing the prints after […]

Releases: Luke Chueh – “Black in White (And Red All Over) Figure

Today Munky King will be releasing a new variant of Luke Chueh’s (interviewed) “Black in White” figure (first seen at Comic-Con). This version will be limited to 250 pieces and is hand painted to be extra bloody (hence the “Red All Over”). Along with the figure, there will be original paintings and an exclusive print release as well. Releases: James Jean “Tango” Giclee

James Jean (who recently had a show at 3.1 Phillip Lim) and SURU has just released a new limited edition giclee of his painting, Tango.  The 28″x44″ giclee, reproduced with archival pigment ink on Hahnemühle Fine Art Paper, is in an edition of 50, signed, numbered, and custom embossed.  It can be yours for $500.  The original 2009 oil painting from which this giclee was created was originally exhibited at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles. Releases: Faile Bunny Boy Bronze (Deep Cherry Patina)

Among some of the items dropped today in Faile’s webstore is the third colorway for their iconic “Bunny Boy” sculpture. The newest patina for this bronze limited edition piece is “Deep Cherry”, and like the “Chocolate Brown” and “British Racing Green” (seen in our studio visit) iterations before it, will produced in a run of 10 and cost $4000 each. Openings: Faile Book Launch & Show @ LES Pop-Up in NYC

On Thursday, AM braved the stormy streets of New York to attend the launch event at Faile’s pop-up gallery where the Brooklyn duo kicked off the release of their soon-to-be bestseller “Prints + Originals 1999–2009” (previewed). Published by Gestalten, this hefty book gives us an inside look at the bread and butter behind Faile’s rise to prominence – the prints and their unique silkscreening/collaging techniques.
