It’s been a long while since the last Instagram Roundup from the streets of East London here on AM, so we thought it was about time we gathered some photos of what’s been happening over the last five months. Headlining our summary of street art this week is this fantastic new mural on the back of some abandoned substation just outside Sheffield from Phlegm of which you can see more detailed pics here. Two gifted graffiti artists and MSK brothers, REVOK and ROID recently collaborated on this piece in East London. If you recall, they recently opened a show together in Los Angeles (covered), as well as joined forces (along with RIME) for another piece in Detroit. As before, you can see that the raw forms of REVOK and the geometric lines of ROID always seem to combine well. Closer looks after the jump…

Since the last London Street Art Roundup, Shoreditch has yet again been buzzing with activity. Much of this is due to Moniker Art Fair hitting Shoreditch for the second year running with a collection of artists around the globe filling the space of Village Underground. This past weekend, the Known Gallery unveiled the exhibition titled Perseverance featuring the works of REVOK, RIME, and ROID. As it had been documented, the trio had been spending time in Detroit in preparation for this show and the final pit stop in Los Angeles was nothing less than impressive. Later this month, Known Gallery will be hosting the first show from Revok since his release from prison and it sounds like the MSK AWR writer will coming back with a vengeance producing one of the largest bodies of work he has ever put together.
