Upcoming: Anarchic Adjustment – “The Future Is Not What It Used To Be” @ Seventh Letter Gallery

Anarchic Adjustment, a fashion clothing company originally founded in London and then popularized in San Francisco, is celebrating their 30 year anniversary revival at the Seventh Letter Gallery in Los Angeles. Entitled The Future Is Not What It Used To Be, the exhibition will be featuring mainly sculptural works dealing with the “uncompromising satire of mass distraction, narcissism and the hidden machine.” For those interested, the show opens on October 20th.

Releases: Eine – “The Missing Letter” Sculptural Edition

Fluorescent Smogg recently released a series of sculptural editions from Eine, their second collaboration with the British street artist on three-dimensional representations of his famous letters. The hand cast concrete sculpture is produced in a run of 10 in four unique color ways (light blue, saffron yellow, light green, light pink) plus a handfinished special edition, £575.00 & £875.00 respectively. Entitled The Missing Letter to reference the fact that Eine’s alphabet canvases sometimes omit the letter ‘W’, these can be added to your collection by heading here. Discuss Eine here.

Showing: KAWS – “Clean Slate” @ NorthPark Center (Dallas)

After making an appearance in Hong Kong and Ibiza, KAWS’ monumental Clean Slate sculpture has reached its final resting place. The NorthPark Center in Dallas has added the piece featuring the Brooklyn-based artist’s signature Companion figures to their impressive permanent collection that includes Andy Warhol, Frank Stella, Joel Shapiro, Jim Dine, Jonathan Borofsky, James Rosenquist, Antony Gormley, Barry Flanagan and Beverly Pepper, among others. Streets: David Shrigley – “Really Good” // Fourth Plinth (London)

At the end of last month, David Shrigley revealed his public art commission standing on the Fourth Plinth at Trafalgar Square. Entitled Really Good, the seven-meter-high bronze piece featuring an extra long thumbs up was sand cast in 50 pieces over 9 months. REMED x Okuda @ Campo Viejo Vineyards (Part II)

In 2013, Remed and Okuda collaborated on a sculpture in the vineyards of the winery Campo Viejo in La Rioja, Spain. Entitled A Bridge Between Sky and Earth, the installation which has become an icon for the wineries was recently repainted by the two artists in a colorful and vibrant palette. Previews: Daniel Arsham – “Circa 2345” @ Galerie Perrotin (New York)

Tomorrow night (September 15th) in New York, Daniel Arsham will be opening a show at Galerie Perrotin entitled Circa 2345. The exhibition will be the locally-based artist’s 11th solo with the gallery, but his first in their NYC branch. Currently in Brussels, Isaac Cordal’s show entitled La Comédie humaine is on view at La Médiatine. The series of sculptures and installations continues to document the lives of the little cement businessmen that the Spanish artist is known for, mirroring his work on the streets.
