As mentioned in our preview, Amanda Visell’s exhibition, “Primeval Love” opened last Friday at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles. Because of the vintage feel to her paintings and the imagery she decided to work with, the show blended in perfectly with the surroundings. In fact, as you can see from the photo above, this was definitely one of most unique and eye-catching settings we have seen for an exhibition in a while. More images after the jump…

This time, he brought along his alterego “Hasadhu”, a fictional character created by Usugrow to reflect his own thoughts, in a show that he describes as “a big storm which will engulf everybody around him and the process of making artwork as the calm night before the storm.” As always, Usugrow’s unique combination of the […]

Anish Kapoor Designs London’s Olympic Tower

Every year we visit a major art fair like Art Basel, we notice certain artists always create buzzworthy pieces. One of those artists is Anish Kapoor, who is renown for creating impressive eye catching sculptures. Apparently we aren’t his only fans as Anish was just named the winner of the competition to design the new “Olympic Tower” for the upcoming 2012 Olympic Games in London. The structure seems to be a mix of a roller coaster and the Eiffel Tower coming to life. The mind-blowing […]
