Streets: David Flores x Shepard Fairey (Los Angeles)

David Flores and Shepard Fairey (featured) continue to go big as they have now collaborated on a new piece standing in the midst of Downtown Los Angeles. Covering an entire wall, the mural is a combination of Flores’ unique design on one side and on the other, Fairey’s black and white iconography. Streets: Ma’claim (Egypt)

After showing you a piece memorializing the late Khaled Said by Case, we present further evidence that the Ma’claim crew has interest in Egypt and the current political upheaval there. Akut from Herakut along with Rusk, Tasso, and the aforementioned Case were recently in the country hitting up the streets of Cairo and Alexandria with murals. Videos: Above – “GIVE A WALL STREET BANKER…”

As you saw briefly in our recent update on the street festivities down in Miami, the Bay area-based ABOVE (interviewed) worked on a piece painted with his signature letters spelling out “GIVE A WALL ST. BANKER ENOUGH ROPE AND HE WILL HANG HIMSELF.” The mural, which also featured a man in a suit hanged in effigy along with the prolific street artist’s well known arrows, drew much attention and was featured on the local news. Streets: Bumblebee – “Passed Out” and “Blanket No. 6” (Los Angeles)

Fresh off a summer that saw him exhibiting in the Portsmouth Museum of Art and causing a ruckus in the streets of New Hampshire, Bumblebee goes all out in a return to his hometown with these two recent pieces. The first is Passed Out, a mural painted by the artist at the shop’s request on the side of Sherman McNulty Frame Gallery in Hollywood. Streets: El Mac (Barcelona)

Gifted street muralist El Mac is at it again, this time in Spain. This new piece was painted on the side of the Montana paint factory (a brand that he has used many times over the years) in Barcelona.
