Releases: Parra x Nike Air Max 1 & Zoom Spiridon Collection

Over the last week or so, Parra started to reveal some new collaborations with Nike including his take on the Zoom Spiridon, & Air Max 1 (including a Friends and Family edition with the lateral swoosh removed and a matching tracksuit). Releases: KAWS x Air Jordan 4 Shoes (Black)

It now sounds like the black version (see gray version) of the KAWS x Air Jordan 4 collaboration will be released on Cyber Monday. Constructed in a black suede upper, the sneakers features the Brooklyn-based artist’s signature “XX” on the heel and hang tag, a Jumpman x KAWS logo on the insole, and a glow-in-the-dark outsole. Releases: Daniel Arsham x Adidas Originals Shoe

Over the weekend, Daniel Arsham teamed up with Adidas Originals to release a new shoe featuring his distinct aesthetic. The American artist’s version of their New York silhouette features an all white color, frayed edges, and the text “THE PAST IS PRESENT” along the side, which is only visible when placed underneath an ultraviolet light. For those familiar with Arsham’s work, these design cues fit in perfectly with his signature “future relic” vibe. Releases: JORDAN X KAWS Capsule

Following the initial news on the KAWS x Air Jordan 4 (covered), we now not only have an official release date for the collaboration, but also a great preview of the apparel that will be released alongside the shoes. Sporting a cool grey color reminiscent of his iconic vinyl figures, the KAWS x Air Jordan 4 is set for release later this month. Featuring graphic detailing from the Brooklyn-based artist and his famous double x’s on the heel tab as well as a glow in the dark outsole. Releases: Rostarr x Nike Running Collection

Nike recently released their collaboration with Romon Kimin Yang (Rostarr) featuring his calligraphy-inspired imagery on a selection of running footwear and apparel. While working with the company on the design of the collection, the New York-based artist was inspired by run crew culture and marathons leading him to embed abstract runners into his pattern of brushstrokes. Releases: Pharrell Williams x Todd “REAS” James x Mr. x Zaha Hadid x Cass Bird adidas Originals Supershell Collection

American singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer, and fashion designer Pharrell Williams once again has collaborated with adidas Originals on a soon to be released collection with the Supershell. Williams teamed up with Todd “REAS” James, Mr., architect Zaha Hadid, and photographer Cass Bird on a series of sneakers that features a different graphic or sculpt to the shelltoe. Six were designed by Williams himself which in total comprised the 10 different designs, which will be offered in black or white colorways starting next month. Via Hypebeast.

Takashi Murakami x Vans Vault Showcase @ Hotel Du Grand Veneur

Over the weekend Hotel Du Grand Veneur in Paris hosted a collaborative showcase between Takashi Murakami and Vans. Coinciding with this season’s Paris Fashion Week, the launch event featured shoes (adult and child), skate decks, surf boards, tees, and related artwork. as well as a roundtable conversation with the esteemed Japanese artist.
