Openings: Bäst – “Botulism” @ Lazarides Gallery

Lazarides’ latest exhibition at their Rathbone Place space opened on the 20th of August and showcased a solo exhibition by legendary Brooklyn artist Bäst. We just wanted to let you know about an interesting project on display this October at La Luz de Jesus – the Lowbrow Tarot Project curated by Aunia Kahn. She has invited 22 other great artists including Kris Kuksi, David Stoupakis, Chet Zar, Laurie Lipton, Brian Viveros, Scott G. Showing: Aurel Schmidt – “Summer Bummer” @ The Fireplace Project

Opening last weekend at the Fireplace Project was Aurel Schmidt’s newest solo show  – “Summer Bummer”. The New York artist, socialite, and one of this year’s Whitney Biennialists, produced a lovely new collection of intricate drawings built from what others consider trash or detritus – her signature twist. Inside the Mark Warren Jacques & Seth Neefus “Free Life Center”
