Following the theme of this year’s Expo15 in Milan, which is “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life,” Wunderkammern Gallery organized a collateral art project titled Chained. The idea behind this group exhibition is to investigate the dynamics between humans and nature through the works of art contributed by artists in this show. After sharing one of the first murals painted for this year’s ALT!rove – Street Art Festival from Clemens Behr, it’s now time to give you a recap of the event. A couple weekends ago, Urban Nation continued their ongoing arts program in Berlin with a new show curated by Henrik Haven & Olly Walker entitled CUT IT OUT!. Focusing on the artistic merit of the stencil, the group exhibition brought together some well known street artists skilled with the technique. Streets: Escif for Memorie Urbane (Italy)

Spanish street artist Escif was recently invited to Gaeta, Italy for the Memorie Urbane Festival where painted a mural entitled Angolo Di Riflessione or Angle of Reflection. The image may look familiar because just up the coast at Isola del Giglio in Tuscany, the Costa Concordia partially sank taking the lives of 32 passengers and crew, an incident which was tainted by the controversial actions of the captain.
