This Friday (February 8th) at 12pm EST, fans of RIME will see a pretty unique release through the good people at 1xRUN. The Arrest Sheets portfolios are priced at a hefty $500 but you get a lot for your money as the edition (run of 30) includes drawings (like the ones here) as well as hand embellished prints & folders with each being unique. AM recently stopped by San Francisco to visit Guerrero Gallery and caught the setup by Remio & Tim Diet as they prepared for their opening this Saturday. First up is Remio, known as a great writer around the world (part of both Barry McGee’s DFW/THR and Os Gemeos’ VLOK crew), bringing a impactful show entitled Man In Transition. The Metro Gallery in Melbourne very recently hosted the opening reception for Dabs Myla’s latest solo show – All Good Things… Along with paintings featuring the whimsical cartoonish characters which are often seen in their outdoor work, the duo also transformed the space with wall murals and installations (a regular occurrence for those familiar with their exhibitions). Street femme fatale and intrepid traveller Miss Van has been spotted in frolicking in Brazil, in particular getting up in Sao Paulo. While visiting friends like Zezao and Ciro Schu, she took time to paint one of her signature Poupee characters near an abandoned factory – one of her first outdoor pieces for 2013.
