Galerie Le Feuvre in Paris recently extended the planned duration of the solo by Ella & Pitr as well as changed most of the works in the show, displaying some unseen pieces in the last few weeks of the exhibition. Au jour le jour pour toujours”(From day to day, forever) consists of a brand new work that the art couple produced in eight month of work and is titled after their personal maxim. This new show marks a slight step away from what the prolific art duo are known […]

Streets: Blu – “La Cuccagna” // Draw The Line Festival (Italy)

Last month in Italy, street art savant Blu made one of his increasingly rare appearances and painted an impressive new mural for the Draw The Line Festival. Entitled La Cuccagna, the mural is his second for the event in Campobasso (see 2011) which again features the Italian artist’s typical biting political commentary made painfully clear with his straight to the point imagery. The piece depicts metaphorically in a genius way how the “elites” of society live off the poor and how they pollute the environment through the […]

Openings: Belin – ‘Post Neo Cubism’ @ 24 Beaubourg (Paris)

Having already exhibited in Europe, US, Canada and Mexico, Spanish artist Miguel Ángel Belinchón aka Belin is currently presenting his first Parisian solo show at 24 Beaubourg entitled Post Neo Cubism, curated by Nicolas Couturieux. The self-taught artist has grown internationally as one of the leading hyper-realistic graffiti artists over the past 15 years. Berlin’s masterful spray paint technique has been his signature style – free hand flowing directly from the realism of his imagination without the use of preparatory stencils, with the precision of lines and proportions so crucial […]

Street artist Brusk from the Da Mental Vaporz crew has returned to Paris for a exhibition entitled In Memoriam at Galerie Laurent Strouk that runs until July 15th, his second solo show (see Ad Vitam Eternam coverage here) in Paris. As you will see, the front sign ‘Matignon’ has been cheekily stroked through with black spray paint while highlighting the letters ART in the Gallery name. Combining a Fine Arts background with more than twenty years of graffiti, Brusk’s gestural painting is instantly recognizable. The French artist creates questions, variations, wanderings through a poetic fantasy, […]

Upcoming: Faile – “The Size of the Fight” @ Library Street Collective (Detroit)

Coming up on June 24th, Library Street Collective will be presenting new work from Faile (featured) in their first Detroit exhibition. The title of the show, The Size of the Fight, references Mark Twain’s quote, “It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog,” which can be applied to the Motor City’s revival in the last several years. In association with the show, the Brooklyn duo will be unveiling five large-scale painted, stenciled, and silkscreened works on wood panels in […]

Streets: Os Gemeos (Stockholm)

Recently in Stockholm, Os Gemeos finished a mural on Fiskargatan 9 on the side of a multistory building featuring their distinctive imagery. Organized by All You See Is Crime In The City and supported by Highlights Store, Montana Colors official distributor in Sweden, the piece depicts a few of the Brazilian duo’s yellow-skinned characters. As is the usual case, the devil is in the details of the two brothers so take a closer look below… Photo credit: Janerik Henriksson/TT, StreetArtNews, and MTN-World. Discuss Os Gemeos here.
