After Melbourne, LA and NY, the next show on Søren Solkær‘s Surface world tour opened Friday June 12th at Øksnehallen in Copenhagen. The exhibition in his hometown is the largest on the world tour, covering a 3,500 square meter area, which provided a great setting for a major street art related event. Streets: Surface Project (Copenhagen)

The 5th show on Søren Solkær‘s Surface world tour opened on June 12th at Øksnehallen in central Copenhagen. The exhibition itself features 122 portraits of some of world’s most famous street artists, who were all featured in his recent book Surface (covered). To celebrate this big event, the Danish photographer invited six international and esteemed artists to create large-scale murals in the streets of Copenhagen. AM came across Crystal Wagner’s work just recently and since we saw images of her beautiful and complex installations, we’ve been looking forward to seeing what she would present for her solo exhibition Surface at the Rosemary Berkel and Harry L.
