Openings: Group Exhibition @ Joshua Liner Gallery

Saturday night, AM attended the opening of Joshua Liner Gallery’s summer group exhibition, which collects solid works from a very strong roster of artists, some of whom the gallery has shown previously and others of whom the gallery is working with for the first time. From the show, it is clear that Liner is actively evolving and maturing his gallery. And from the response from collectors and others at the opening, it seems that what he’s doing is working. Looks like Sylvia Ji (interviewed) is in the midst of preparing for her first solo show in the UK entitled “Nectar” set to open on September 3rd at StolenSpace.Â She posted up a shot of her studio with some in progress works recently on her blog, where she also revealed a print set project she’s been working on. Sylvia Ji (interviewed) presented her latest exhibition, â€œHaute Epochâ€, at Corey Helford Gallery, last Saturday, April 11th.
