Chloe Early (interviewed) recently had a solo at The Outsiders London gallery space. From the 4th of April to the 3rd of May she was showing her latest body of work tiled Suspended, that is featured “several large-scale oil paintings alongside a selection of smaller works, referencing the romantic splendor of Renaissance religious art while exploring the themes of weightlessness and gravity.” Concentrating on her realistic figurative painting, mixed with expressive elements in the background, the main concept of the new work was capturing a body somewhere […]

After a few months since they first mentioned their upcoming intaglio etching editions, Ukrainian art duo Interesni Kazki has just announced the release of these long awaited prints. Known for their hyper-surrealistic imagery and large fairy tale-like murals they’ve been creating all over the globe, Waone and AEC worked separately on each of their prints, and sent us a couple of preview images of the finished works. Tomorrow, Mr Jago brings his explosive graffiti-based palette to The Outsiders gallery space in Newcastle. Piltdown Tactics will feature Jago’s trademark riot of colour in the form of the large scale canvases he has become known for, also with some works on paper in the mix from the Bristol-based artist. His work takes the form of a graffiti inspired vision of action painting and infuses a healthy dose of abstract expressionism to create his loose but focussed, landscape compositions. Cleon Peterson recently brought his highly stylised and violent imagery to London for his first solo exhibition in the UK. There is a War opened at The Outsiders’ Soho gallery space on Thursday July 4th with a selection of works from his Brinksman series as well as his wonderful tableaux street scenes so full of multi-dimensional blood drenched villainy. Cleon Peterson‘s first UK solo exhibition is on the horizon, so get ready for some carnage Londoners! Peterson’s stories are told in a typically monochrome language, and show a world where violence reigns, interspersed with quirky black humour.
