Anish Kapoor Designs London’s Olympic Tower

Every year we visit a major art fair like Art Basel, we notice certain artists always create buzzworthy pieces. One of those artists is Anish Kapoor, who is renown for creating impressive eye catching sculptures. Apparently we aren’t his only fans as Anish was just named the winner of the competition to design the new “Olympic Tower” for the upcoming 2012 Olympic Games in London. The structure seems to be a mix of a roller coaster and the Eiffel Tower coming to life. The mind-blowing […]

Portland artist Mark Warren Jacques (interviewed) will be returning to San Francisco soon and has released a video in conjunction with his visit. Entitled “Mind Visit”, the short film is an exploratory journey into both the mind and studio of the young artist as he diligently prepares for his part in the upcoming group show “New Territory” debuting next weekend at White Walls. Equally haunting and enlightening, “Mind Visit” is less of a welcoming insight than it is a seemingly drug induced and slightly voyeuristic […]

Opening to a packed house, Jeremy held court at the Queen City of the Plains, providing residents with a new mural and dozen of prints and new originals. The concept of the tour, to be able to provide fans and galleries that are somewhat off the beaten path with small yet fresh shows, seems to be off to a great start. Expect the tour […]
