Next month, the Venice, California location for Gallery 1988 will be hosting the straightforwardly named The Old School Video Game Art Show. Openings: Jab Strong Fierce (Street Fighter Tribute Show) @ Nucleus Gallery

AM stopped by Nucleus Gallery couple weekends ago to check out the art and festivities of the Street Fighter Tribute show. The video game inspired art certainly delighted the crowd, but just as entertaining were the events associated with the show like the cosplay contest and the street fighter playing tournament. Preview: Jab Strong Fierce (Street Fighter Tribute Show) @ Nucleus Gallery

Our friends over at Nucleus Gallery just sent over some more preview pics from their street fighter tribute show opening this Saturday, April 25 including this gem from Luke Chueh entitled “‘Hyakuretsukyaku (Lightening Kick).” With many of us spending countless hours of our youth perfecting the moves for our favorite fighters, this show will definitely be nostalgic.
