Friends and LA-based artists Edwin Ushiro’s (interviewed) and Yoskay Yamamoto (featured) made their way northwest to attend the opening of their latest joint show at the Roq La Rue a couple of weeks ago. Yoskay bought some works on a new medium for him – paper – as well as some sweet wood sculptures all entitled “lost stories and found memories”. Edwin displayed a new body of work infused with his Hawaiian aesthetic entitled “Preceding Sunday” as well a free gift for his fans.
