Kaws recently opened his “Passing Through” exhibition in Tsim Sha Tsui at the popular Harbour City complex in Hong Kong. AM caught the opening of “Family Tradition” at TT Underground Gallery. Curated by Ron English, the group show re-imagines one of the classic mob sagas through the eyes of art. The show featured artists such as Eric White, Travis Louie, Mark Dean Veca, Triston Eaton, Mike Shinoda, Chet Zar to name a few. Check out all the opening night mayhem after he jump.

Mission Inn’s notorious catacombs, once an underground museum that led mainly to Mt. Rubidoux and the nearby Riverside Evergreen Cemetery, had long been entirely closed off to the public. Baby Tattooville attendees were lucky enough to be the first group gained admission to these catacombs at Baby Tattooville 2009. Last February, Camilla d’Errico was invited to show at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver. Her painting, ‘Canadian Tiger’ not only sold at the Olympics, but has just been released as a limited edition print. In addition, it was Camilla’s birthday recently. Today Munky King will be releasing a new variant of Luke Chueh’s (interviewed) “Black in White” figure (first seen at Comic-Con). This version will be limited to 250 pieces and is hand painted to be extra bloody (hence the “Red All Over”). Along with the figure, there will be original paintings and an exclusive print release as well. Dan Bergeron (aka Faux Reel) has a cool show at Toronto’s Show & Tell Gallery. The ever clever street artist created a body of work utilizing the distressed surface of the street and integrates them with the charm & familiarity of the human face.
