Openings: “Family Tradition” curated by Ron English @ TT Underground Gallery

AM caught the opening of “Family Tradition” at TT Underground Gallery. Curated by Ron English, the group show re-imagines one of the classic mob sagas through the eyes of art. Veteran new contemporary artist and occasional vinyl toy architect Jeff Soto is set to release his newest vinyl creation next Saturday, October 9th at NY Comic Con. Baby Tattooville ’10 – Midnight In the Catacombs

Mission Inn’s notorious catacombs, once an underground museum that led mainly to Mt. Releases: Camilla d’Errico – “Canadian Tiger” Print

Baby Tattooville ’10 – Secret Store by Paris to the Moon

Baby Tattooville attendees more often than not are also collectors and lovers of art products. As such, one of their favorite BT activities is shopping at the Secret Store that pops up every yearly gathering. Releases: Luke Chueh – “Black in White (And Red All Over) Figure

Today Munky King will be releasing a new variant of Luke Chueh’s (interviewed) “Black in White” figure (first seen at Comic-Con). This version will be limited to 250 pieces and is hand painted to be extra bloody (hence the “Red All Over”). Along with the figure, there will be original paintings and an exclusive print release as well. Dan Bergeron (aka Faux Reel) has a cool show at Toronto’s Show & Tell Gallery. The ever clever street artist created a body of work utilizing the distressed surface of the street and integrates them with the charm & familiarity of the human face.
