AM stopped by Paul Insect’s folio release event at Pictures on Walls last week to take a look at the ‘Unclear Residents set. The evening presented a series of Paul’s screen-printed targets pasted about the walls, along with the selection of prints and a huge bank of page-spreads from the two limited zines available in the hand-made folio. At the time of writing, the edition of 80 sets seems to be close to sold out, with just 3 sets remaining. The scrapbook ‘Beat the Devils and the ‘I’m Revolting zine are still available separately in limited numbers.

The package is lovingly prepared and stacked out with great details, just as you’d expect, especially the über-limited artist proof set, where you get just about every colourway of the different prints you see on the walls, all in matching numbers. Take a look at our pictures from the evening, and find details of an exclusive Insect screenprint giveaway after the jump.

Paul Insect and POW have donated 8 exclusive target screenprints (as seen in our pictures) for our readers. These images are based upon original WW2 German shooting range images, given a modern twist with Insect’s riot police imagery.

Each sheet is printed two-up, so you’ll actually get two coppers to practice with. Just let us know either with a comment here, on the Artchival forum thread or on our Facebook page which is your favourite Insect print release to date, and we’ll pick a bunch of winners at random. You can enter one time on each outlet, so that’s a total of 3 chances to win.

Contest closes Friday 21st November 2010 at 11pm GMT.
