This year, Baby Tattooville “secret society” members were treated to something completely different from previous years. Master Blacksmith Tony Swatton, known to many as THE blacksmith of Hollywood, was invited to BT’s 5th year anniversary. Samples of Swatton’s work were displayed throughout the Mission Inn Catacombs. This included helmets, swords, and armor pieces that are similar to those created by Swatton for the Capital One commercials and Pirates of the Caribbean movies we are all so familiar with. Swatton took requests from attendees and produced many pieces on the spot. One such creation was a mini mask based off of Gary Baseman’s Chou Chou.
