Coming up on December 17th, the Corey Helford Gallery will be presenting a new solo show, Gilded Roses, from Sylvia Ji (interviewed). We remember covering her show at the Culver City showspace all the way back in 2009 as well as in 2010, and this time around, her fans will be out in droves again to support the LA-based artist known for her day of the dead imagery although she has moved away from this recently. The new portraiture features her female archetypes in regal, intricate, and immaculately detailed garments and clothing which we are anxious to see in person.
