For those fans of  Sylvia Ji (interviewed) out there who particularly liked her “Day of the Dead” imagery, you are in luck. She will be opening a new solo on November 3rd (the Saturday right after the actual Mexican Holiday) at the new CHG Circa Gallery. Presumably, La Catrina will feature paintings from the Los Angeles-based artist centered around the masks, skulls, iconagraphy and other imagery associated with “Dia de los Muertos”.
