It seemed like only yesterday that the some of the art world (here, here, here, here) helped boost Barack Obama into the White House. Upcoming: Geoff McFetridge – “Floating” @ Cooper Cole

Coming up on November 8th, the LA-based Geoff McFetridge makes a return to his native country of Canada for his first showing there. Collectively entitled Floating, the new paintings will be put on display at the Cooper Cole Gallery in Toronto where fans will be able to admire his simple style that seems to walk the line between two and three dimensional space. Kickstarter: Tim Biskup – Big Butter Double Vinyl LP

Some of you may not know (including us), but painter Tim Biskup (featured) is part of a band Big Butter that he formed with his brother Mike Biskup back in the 80s. One of their favorite and most obscure recordings, BRAINSLED, was released as a cassette in 1989, but was never released on vinyl.
