On March 15th, the Corey Helford Gallery will be opening a new group exhibition entitled POP-EYECONIC – An Exploration of Popular Iconic Characters that will be playing off a theme we have seen before. Artists like Aaron Martin, Ben Frost, Bumblebee, Carlos Ramos, Chris Anthony, Colin Christian, David Stoupakis, D*Face, Eric Joyner, Hikari Shimoda, Jennybird Alcantara, Joey Remmers, Dave Kinsey, Natalia Fabia, Korin Faught, Lola, Luke Chueh, Meggs, Mia Araujo, Michael Mararian, Mike Stilkey, Nate Frizzell, Paul Frank, Peter Gronquist, Pure Evil, Richard Oliver, Robert Xavier Buren, Ron English (seen above), Sarah Folkman, Sas Christian, SHAG, Shark Toof, Soey Milk, and Tom Bagshaw will be choosing pop icons that have special meaning for them and then rendering them in their signature style.
