An upcoming group show brings together the work of Gregory Bojorquez, Patrick Martinez, and Michael Vasquez. The pieces in This Crazy Life depict inner-city urban life and culture through a variety of paintings, photographs and mix-media pieces. For his part, Keyes will be continuing the series of work last seen in his online showing (covered) earlier this year in his new style, bringing his imagery all the way to the edge of the painting surface. Last weekend, the Oakland Museum of California opened a new exhibition, entitled SuperAwesome: Art and Giant Robot, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the art and culture magazine Giant Robot. Along with a diverse selection of GR branded paraphenalia and publications, artists who have been involved with them over the years contributed original artwork as well as some wall murals. Fans saw a diverse collection of works from artists like Ako Castuera, Sean Chao, Luke Chueh, Hamburger Eyes, Andrew Hem, James Jean, kozyndan, Masakatsu Sashie, Shizu Saldamando, Rob Sato, Amy Sol, Deth P. Streets: Nychos (Oakland)

Austrian street artist and a member of the The Weird Crew from Europe, Nychos, recently spent a few weeks in San Francisco. His temporary residency consisted of working on his solo show at Fifty24SF, painting several murals around the city, and even doing some free tattoo sessions.
