A relatively new and fresh gallery in the Lower East Side of NYC, Two Rams (headed by Tali Wertheimer and Brandon Coburn), currently has a show by the young and talented painter Ryan Schneider. The exhibition, Ritual for Letting Go, features large-scale paintings that combine elements of painting and drawing with creative techniques such as layering pigment and paints and scratching in the compositions. The show explores interests and themes such as spirituality, magic, and the mysteries of the night and the truths that the darkness reveals both within the artist and the natural world surrounding him.
