This Saturday night in Los Angeles, Nate Frizzell (interviewed) will be presenting all new paintings at CHG Circa entitled Dark Was The Night. Working primarily with a black background, the new perspective referenced in the title of the show provides a stark new background that really make his imagery pop. The fresh pieces will continue to feature his portraiture of children and different wild creatures as well as his familiar exploration of identity thru the use of costumes.
